How to play

• F plays the hihat, Space the kick, J the snare. Step 1 is a free drum kit — just bang away.
• Step 2 loops the classic rock beat at 90 BPM, quietly. Play along on the same keys: the beat grid shows one bar of the pattern, color-coded per drum, with the current step highlighted as it plays.
• Every hit is judged against the nearest note in its lane. Land within a tenth of a second and that note flashes green; further off flashes yellow. If you’re locked in, your hit masks the quiet guide completely — if you hear a flam, you’re early or late.
• Get 10 greens in a single bar and the band joins: a 12-bar blues walking bassline starts on the next bar and stays with you. The bar has 12 notes, so only two mistakes are allowed.
